Blue envelope project
Project Manager
Creating safer, more informed interactions for autistic and neurodivergent individuals through community partnership and education.

Why this matters
1 in 36 children are now diagnosed with autism, yet many families still move through the world wondering if their loved one will be understood in moments of stress or emergency.
The Blue Envelope Project exists to help create safer, more compassionate interactions through awareness, education, and community support.
Until now, our already overextended communities have been responsible for implementing and orchestrating their own blue envelope initiatives. With the LOLA Blue Envelope Project, we centralize the experience, and provide everything needed to support our first responders.

Build Community
We collaborate with police departments, schools, first responders, and community organizations interested in creating safer, more informed interactions for neurodivergent individuals and families.
LOLA provides autism-informed education and guidance focused on communication differences, sensory needs, emotional regulation, and supportive de-escalation practices during high-stress situations.
Blue Envelopes and supporting resources are distributed to partner organizations and the community to help communicate important information during traffic stops, emergencies, or other public interactions.
Beyond implementation, we offer continue supporting awareness efforts through outreach events, community engagement, and ongoing partnership opportunities that help foster trust, understanding, and safety.
