Service Description

I know how overwhelming IEP meetings can feel—so I’m here to make the process easier and more manageable for you. Here’s how I’ll help: Before the IEP Meeting: - You’ll fill out a survey explaining your concerns and questions - I’ll review the survey and your child’s IEP, and break it down into simple, clear terms so you fully understand it. - Together, we’ll pinpoint any areas that need changes and come up with questions or goals to bring to the meeting (30 min Zoom meeting). During the IEP Meeting: - I’ll be there with you, either in person or virtually, to provide support and guidance. - I’ll help you make sense of the technical jargon and make sure your voice is heard. - I’ll advocate alongside you to ensure your child’s needs are front and center. After the IEP Meeting: - I’ll check in with you and see how you felt the process went and if there are any next steps. (Phone call check in) - I will send the follow-up email for you to the IEP team, including an overview of the meeting, our conversations, any key notes, and any requested documentation if needed (since I know you already have a lot to think about!) With me by your side, you won’t have to face IEP meetings alone. I will make sure you feel prepared, confident, and ready to advocate for your child’s success!
